and_o there_o continue_v for_o no_o long_a space_n quit_v the_o market_n at_o eight_o or_o nine_o of_o the_o clock_n in_o the_o morning_n shall_v pay_v for_o the_o large_a place_n or_o stand_n only_o some_o extraordinary_a conveniency_n or_o accommodation_n unless_o in_o leaden-hall_n market_n where_o other_o and_o large_a rate_n have_v be_v ancient_o pay_v for_o stall_n or_o stand_n therein_o and_o that_o no_o person_n or_o person_n inhabit_v in_o or_o near_a to_o any_o the_o say_a market_n place_n or_o other_o person_n or_o person_n whatsoever_o upon_o pretence_n of_o any_o right_n whatsoever_o other_o than_o the_o receiver_n or_o collector_n of_o the_o say_a rate_n and_o duty_n shall_v from_o henceforth_o provide_v any_o stall_n or_o other_o accommodation_n in_o any_o of_o the_o aforesaid_a market_n place_n or_o direct_o or_o indirect_o take_v require_v or_o exact_v any_o sum_n or_o sum_n of_o money_n or_o other_o reward_n of_o the_o market_n people_n for_o any_o stall_n stand_n or_o accommodation_n of_o their_o place_n and_o station_n in_o the_o say_a market_n upon_o pain_n that_o every_o person_n offend_v herein_o shall_v forfeit_v and_o lose_v for_o every_o so_o all_o disturbance_n to_o the_o market_n people_n and_o unnecessary_a suit_n at_o law_n may_v be_v avoid_v and_o that_o the_o say_v overseer_n and_o receiver_n or_o collector_n shall_v frequent_o attend_v and_o be_v in_o the_o say_a market_n during_o market_n time_n and_o diligent_o oversee_v the_o same_o to_o prevent_v with_o their_o best_a care_n any_o abuse_n or_o disorder_n that_o may_v happen_v or_o be_v commit_v therein_o and_o also_o to_o take_v care_n that_o the_o provision_n and_o penalty_n appoint_v by_o this_o act_n against_o all_o offender_n contrary_a to_o the_o same_o be_v that_o the_o flesh_n so_o offer_v to_o be_v put_v to_o sale_n shall_v be_v forfeit_v and_o dispose_v of_o to_o such_o prison_n of_o this_o city_n as_o the_o lord_n major_a for_o the_o time_n be_v shall_v direct_v and_o appoint_v now_o it_o be_v find_v by_o experience_n that_o such_o secret_a offender_n shun_v and_o escape_v all_o search_n and_o due_a punishment_n and_o the_o market_n of_o this_o city_n be_v thereby_o neglect_v and_o decay_v and_o such_o secret_a sale_n of_o flesh_n be_v also_o find_v to_o be_v a_o mean_n of_o encourage_v many_o thievish_a idle_a and_o ill-disposed_a person_n to_o steal_v cattle_n in_o the_o country_n and_o part_n adjacent_a to_o this_o city_n to_o the_o great_a deceit_n and_o damage_n of_o his_o majesty_n subject_n and_o scandal_n of_o the_o government_n of_o this_o city_n for_o the_o prevention_n whereof_o for_o the_o future_a these_o be_v in_o his_o majesty_n name_n strait_o to_o charge_n and_o command_v you_o forthwith_o on_o sight_n right_n honourable_a the_o lord_n major_n and_o the_o alderman_n his_o brethren_n and_o the_o commons_o in_o this_o common_a council_n assemble_v and_o by_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o same_o that_o poulterer_n shop_n or_o shop_n within_o the_o city_n of_o london_n or_o liberty_n thereof_o or_o within_o two_o miles_n distance_n of_o the_o liberty_n of_o the_o same_o city_n may_v from_o and_o after_o the_o publication_n of_o this_o act_n take_v to_o farm_n or_o hire_n stand_n stall_n or_o place_n in_o any_o the_o aforesaid_a respective_a market_n and_o there_o sell_v utter_a and_o put_v to_o open_a show_n or_o sale_n his_o or_o their_o beef_n mutton_n veal_n lamb_n pork_n and_o other_o butchery_n or_o poultry_n ware_n or_o other_o provision_n upon_o the_o four_o day_n of_o the_o week_n in_o manner_n as_o be_v hereafter_o express_v viz._n upon_o mondays_n wednesdays_n and_o friday_n weekly_o between_o the_o feast_n of_o the_o annunciation_n and_o the_o feast_n of_o st._n michael_n from_o six_o of_o the_o clock_n in_o the_o forenoon_n until_o eight_o of_o the_o clock_n in_o the_o evening_n of_o the_o same_o day_n and_o between_o the_o feast_n of_o st._n michael_n and_o the_o annunciation_n from_o eight_o of_o the_o clock_n before_o noon_n until_o five_o of_o the_o clock_n in_o the_o evening_n of_o the_o same_o day_n and_o upon_o every_o saturday_n in_o the_o week_n all_o the_o year_n long_o from_o the_o aforesaid_a respective_a hour_n of_o six_o and_o eight_o of_o the_o clock_n before_o noon_n until_o eight_o of_o the_o clock_n in_o the_o evening_n of_o the_o same_o day_n for_o so_o long_a time_n only_o as_o he_o or_o they_o shall_v furnish_v the_o say_a stall_n stand_n and_o place_n with_o wholesome_a flesh_n and_o other_o provision_n in_o he_o or_o their_o own_o right_n and_o not_o as_o servant_n or_o servant_n or_o otherwise_o in_o behalf_n of_o any_o other_o any_o thing_n in_o any_o former_a act_n of_o common_a council_n contain_v to_o the_o contrary_a thereof_o in_o any_o wise_n notwithstanding_o provide_v always_o that_o no_o butcher_n or_o poulterer_n whatsoever_o who_o keep_v no_o shop_n or_o shop_n within_o the_o city_n of_o london_n or_o liberty_n thereof_o or_o within_o two_o miles_n distance_n of_o the_o same_o city_n shall_v in_o the_o say_v respective_a market_n sell_v utter_a or_o put_v to_o open_a show_n or_o sale_n his_o or_o their_o butchery_n or_o poultry_n ware_n upon_o mondays_n and_o fridays_n weekly_a upon_o pain_n that_o every_o such_o butcher_n or_o poulterer_n shall_v for_o every_o time_n he_o or_o they_o shall_v sell_v utter_a or_o put_v to_o open_a show_n or_o sale_n in_o the_o say_a market_n his_o or_o their_o butchery_n or_o poultry_n ware_n upon_o monday_n or_o friday_n in_o any_o week_n forfeit_v the_o sum_n of_o ten_o shilling_n and_o to_o the_o end_n the_o respective_a hour_n aforesaid_a may_v the_o better_o be_v observe_v in_o the_o say_a market_n it_o be_v further_a enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o a_o market_n bell_n in_o all_o the_o several_a market_n within_o the_o city_n of_o london_n shall_v ring_v twice_o every_o day_n that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o first_o ring_v from_o the_o twenty_o five_o of_o march_n yearly_a until_o the_o twenty_o nine_o day_n of_o september_n at_o seven_o of_o the_o clock_n before_o noon_n except_o upon_o monday_n and_o then_o the_o first_o ring_v shall_v not_o begin_v till_o eight_o of_o the_o clock_n in_o the_o forenoon_n and_o from_o the_o twenty_o nine_o day_n of_o september_n yearly_o until_o the_o twenty_o five_o day_n of_o march_n at_o eight_o of_o the_o clock_n before_o noon_n and_o not_o before_o except_o upon_o monday_n and_o then_o the_o first_o ring_v shall_v not_o begin_v till_o nine_o of_o the_o clock_n before_o noon_n and_o that_o the_o second_o ring_v of_o the_o market_n bell_n for_o raise_v of_o the_o say_a market_n shall_v begin_v to_o ring_n from_o and_o after_o the_o twenty_o five_o of_o march_n yearly_a until_o the_o twenty_o nine_o day_n of_o september_n except_o on_o saturdays_n half_o a_o hour_n after_o four_o in_o the_o afternoon_n and_o to_o continue_v ring_v till_o five_o of_o the_o clock_n and_o from_o and_o after_o the_o twenty_o nine_o day_n of_o september_n until_o the_o twenty_o five_o day_n of_o march_n yearly_a except_o on_o saturdays_n to_o begin_v to_o ring_n half_o a_o hour_n after_o three_o of_o the_o clock_n and_o to_o continue_v ring_v until_o four_o of_o the_o clock_n in_o the_o afternoon_n and_o that_o the_o second_o ring_v of_o the_o market_n bell_n upon_o saturday_n weekly_o throughout_o the_o year_n shall_v begin_v half_a a_o hour_n after_o seven_o of_o the_o clock_n and_o to_o continue_v ring_v
it_o shall_v happen_v that_o six_o month_n after_o f._n shall_v become_v indebt_v to_o w._n or_o have_v good_n in_o his_o hand_n belong_v to_o w._n the_o plaintiff_n by_o virtue_n of_o the_o
