prince_n by_o either_o papist_n or_o fanatic_n it_o be_v evident_a by_o history_n that_o the_o pope_n of_o rome_n never_o send_v out_o their_o bull_n nor_o ever_o stir_v up_o subject_n unto_o rebellion_n against_o any_o secular_a prince_n whatever_o but_o only_o against_o such_o as_o be_v by_o they_o judge_v to_o be_v heretic_n and_o void_a of_o grace_n and_o therefore_o not_o fit_a to_o govern_v nor_o ever_o be_v there_o either_o king_n emperor_n or_o any_o supreme_a magistrate_n depose_v or_o murder_v by_o the_o papist_n but_o it_o be_v upon_o the_o account_n of_o the_o say_a prince_n his_o want_n of_o grace_n hence_o arise_v the_o spanish_a invasion_n against_o queen_n elizabeth_n the_o gunpowder_n plot_n against_o king_n james_n and_o the_o irish_a rebellion_n against_o king_n charles_n the_o first_o and_o oat_n his_o popish_a plot_n against_o king_n charles_n the_o second_o all_o arise_v from_o a_o belief_n that_o the_o aforesaid_a prince_n be_v heretic_n and_o void_a of_o grace_n and_o therefore_o have_v no_o just_a right_o unto_o any_o temporal_a dominion_n in_o like_a manner_n all_z the_o abovementioned_a plot_n of_o the_o fanatic_n take_v their_o rise_n from_o this_o one_o false_a notion_n scil_n that_o temporal_a dominion_n be_v found_v in_o grace_n and_o because_o they_o be_v of_o opinion_n that_o the_o king_n and_o governor_n be_v wicked_a tyrannical_a and_o void_a of_o grace_n that_o therefore_o they_o have_v no_o right_a to_o govern_v but_o it_o be_v lawful_a for_o the_o subject_n to_o depose_v and_o destroy_v they_o by_o force_n of_o arms._n the_o belief_n of_o this_o false_a notion_n make_v the_o fanatic_n as_o be_v say_v before_o to_o wage_v war_n against_o king_n charles_n the_o first_o and_o at_o last_o to_o murder_n he_o to_o banish_v king_n charles_n the_o second_o and_o afterward_o rebellious_o to_o fight_v against_o he_o at_o worcester_n this_o make_v venner_n and_o his_o confederate_n to_o draw_v the_o sword_n against_o our_o present_n most_o gracious_a king_n under_o the_o notion_n that_o he_o want_v grace_n and_o be_v a_o enemy_n to_o king_n jesus_n this_o make_v stephen_n college_n at_o oxford_n with_o his_o protestant_a flail_n william_n hone_n and_o his_o conspirator_n at_o rye-house_n with_o their_o blunderbuss_n to_o plot_v the_o murder_n both_o of_o our_o dread_a sovereign_n the_o king_n and_o of_o the_o illustrious_a prince_n james_z duke_z of_o york_z though_o one_o of_o they_o to_o wit_n hone_n think_v his_o royal_a highness_n to_o have_v have_v some_o nay_o more_o grace_n than_o his_o majesty_n and_o therefore_o hone_n confess_v that_o at_o last_o he_o be_v for_o spare_v the_o duke_n but_o for_o kill_v the_o king_n though_o for_o ever_o bless_v and_o praise_v be_v almighty_a god_n who_o wonderful_o spare_v and_o deliver_v they_o both_z king_n and_o duke_n from_o the_o hand_n of_o their_o bloody_a enemy_n and_o we_o hope_v and_o pray_v that_o he_o will_v ever_o deliver_v they_o and_o we_o far_o pray_v that_o the_o people_n may_v be_v undeceive_v and_o thorough_o convince_v of_o their_o aforesaid_a great_a error_n for_o until_o they_o be_v convince_v the_o king_n have_v no_o security_n from_o they_o whether_o papist_n or_o fanatic_n of_o either_o his_o crown_n or_o his_o life_n for_o although_o the_o king_n be_v true_o never_o so_o orthodox_n virtuous_a and_o pious_a yet_o upon_o the_o least_o fail_v they_o will_v clamour_v and_o give_v out_o that_o he_o be_v fall_v from_o grace_n and_o therefore_o aught_o to_o be_v depose_v and_o no_o long_o to_o have_v dominion_n over_o they_o for_o according_a to_o their_o belief_n temporal_a dominion_n be_v found_v in_o grace_n iii_o a_o confirmation_n of_o heathen_a king_n and_o prince_n in_o their_o infidelity_n for_o this_o pernicious_a doctrine_n that_o temporal_a dominion_n be_v found_v in_o grace_n discourage_v heathen_a and_o unbelieving_a prince_n from_o believe_v in_o christ_n and_o from_o embrace_v christianity_n because_o if_o they_o shall_v become_v christian_n then_o they_o be_v not_o sure_a to_o hold_v their_o crown_n long_o on_o their_o head_n no_o nor_o their_o head_n long_o on_o their_o shoulder_n for_o although_o they_o shall_v not_o renounce_v christianity_n nor_o turn_v heathen_n again_o yet_o if_o through_o natural_a infirmity_n or_o prevalency_n of_o temptation_n or_o excess_n of_o passion_n they_o shall_v become_v vicious_a in_o their_o life_n or_o if_o through_o contrary_a persuasion_n they_o shall_v not_o believe_v as_o the_o papist_n and_o fanatic_n believe_v then_o they_o must_v be_v adjudge_v to_o have_v no_o grace_n and_o therefore_o to_o have_v no_o right_n of_o dominion_n over_o their_o subject_n but_o must_v be_v depose_v and_o dethrone_v for_o temporal_a
