observe_v doct._n it_o be_v a_o great_a relief_n to_o a_o soul_n in_o pray_v to_o god_n to_o consider_v that_o his_o be_v the_o kingdom_n power_n and_o glory_n and_o all_o these_o for_o ever_o he_o be_v the_o kingdom_n god_n have_v the_o sovereign_a government_n of_o all_o thing_n and_o then_o his_o right_n to_o govern_v be_v back_v with_o all-sufficient_a power_n and_o strength_n and_o so_o he_o can_v dispose_v of_o his_o sovereignty_n for_o the_o bring_v to_o pass_v what_o we_o expect_v from_o he_o â—_o authority_n be_v one_o thing_n and_o power_n another_o but_o they_o both_o meet_v in_o god_n he_o have_v all_o power_n and_o authority_n and_o then_o his_o be_v the_o glory_n he_o be_v concern_v as_o well_o as_o we_o yea_o more_o his_o interest_n be_v great_a than_o we_o for_o the_o glory_n of_o all_o belong_v to_o he_o and_o all_o this_o not_o for_o a_o time_n but_o for_o ever_o these_o be_v the_o encouragement_n to_o raise_v our_o confidence_n that_o our_o prayer_n shall_v be_v hear_v and_o grant_v when_o we_o ask_v any_o thing_n according_a to_o his_o will._n â—here_o be_v two_o thing_n that_o give_v we_o confidence_n in_o any_o that_o we_o sue_v to_o if_o he_o be_v able_a and_o willing_a now_o god_n be_v able_a to_o grant_v our_o request_n and_o very_o prone_a and_o willing_a also_o we_o be_v teach_v it_o sufficient_o in_o this_o prayer_n for_o we_o begin_v with_o he_o as_o father_n and_o we_o end_v with_o he_o as_o a_o glorious_a and_o powerful_a king_n his_o fatherly_a affection_n on_o the_o one_o hand_n show_v that_o he_o be_v willing_a and_o his_o royal_a power_n on_o the_o other_o that_o he_o be_v able_a so_o that_o if_o we_o ask_v any_o thing_n according_a to_o his_o will_n we_o need_v not_o doubt_v we_o may_v gather_v his_o power_n and_o will_n out_o of_o this_o very_a clause_n his_o power_n for_o his_o be_v the_o kingdom_n and_o power_n or_o a_o right_n and_o authority_n back_v with_o absolute_a all-sufficiency_n then_o his_o will_n thou_o be_v the_o glory_n it_o be_v his_o glory_n to_o grant_v our_o petition_n not_o only_a matter_n of_o happiness_n to_o we_o but_o of_o glory_n to_o god_n therefore_o we_o need_v not_o doubt_v but_o more_o particular_o 1._o there_o be_v confidence_n establish_v by_o that_o that_o his_o be_v the_o kingdom_n god_n kingdom_n be_v either_o universal_a over_o all_o man_n or_o thing_n or_o particular_a and_o special_a which_o note_v his_o relation_n to_o the_o saint_n to_o those_o which_o have_v give_v up_o themselves_o to_o his_o government_n to_o be_v guide_v by_o he_o to_o everlasting_a glory_n and_o both_o these_o be_v ground_n of_o confidence_n 1._o his_o universal_a kingdom_n over_o all_o person_n and_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n this_o kingdom_n be_v a_o absolute_a monarchy_n with_o a_o plenary_a dominion_n and_o propriety_n ground_v upon_o his_o creation_n of_o they_o there_o be_v a_o twofold_a dominion_n dominium_fw-la jurisdictionis_fw-la and_o dominium_fw-la proprietatis_fw-la the_o one_o be_v such_o as_o a_o king_n have_v over_o his_o subject_n the_o other_o such_o as_o a_o king_n have_v in_o his_o good_n and_o land_n the_o latter_a be_v great_a than_o the_o former_a a_o king_n have_v a_o dominion_n of_o jurisdiction_n over_o his_o subject_n to_o command_v and_o govern_v they_o but_o he_o have_v not_o such_o a_o absolute_a propriety_n in_o their_o person_n as_o he_o have_v in_o his_o own_o good_n and_o land_n he_o may_v dispose_v of_o they_o absolute_o at_o his_o own_o pleasure_n but_o his_o jurisdiction_n be_v limit_v in_o short_a we_o must_v distinguish_v of_o his_o dominion_n as_o a_o ruler_n and_o as_o a_o owner_n but_o both_o these_o they_o concur_v in_o god_n and_o that_o in_o the_o high_a degree_n for_o god_n be_v owner_n as_o well_o as_o ruler_n he_o make_v all_o thing_n out_o of_o nothing_o therefore_o have_v a_o more_o absolute_a dominion_n over_o we_o than_o any_o potentate_n or_o king_n can_v have_v not_o only_o over_o his_o subject_n but_o his_o good_n and_o can_v govern_v all_o thing_n
