report_n of_o jesus_n more_o than_o the_o most_o of_o believer_n likely_a will_v have_v do_v upon_o a_o bare_a report_n beside_o how_o many_o instance_n of_o little_a child_n wrought_v upon_o even_o wish_v it_o may_v be_v thou_o have_v relation_n estate_n name_n as_o good_a as_o other_o yet_o thou_o can_v not_o be_v satisfy_v all_o be_v nothing_o without_o interest_n in_o he_o thou_o run_v from_o ordinance_n to_o ordinance_n from_o one_o congregation_n to_o another_o from_o read_v to_o prayer_n yet_o find_v no_o satisfaction_n in_o all_o i_o will_v say_v to_o that_o soul_n thou_o have_v a_o we_o both_o to_o will_v and_o to_o do_v of_o his_o own_o good_a pleasure_n know_v what_o trial_n he_o have_v for_o every_o one_o of_o we_o some_o in_o one_o kind_n some_o in_o another_o some_o great_a trial_n for_o their_o faith_n and_o some_o for_o their_o self-denial_n and_o some_o for_o their_o love_n may_z according_o work_n but_o this_o be_v not_o so_o much_o material_a if_o we_o can_v find_v we_o grow_v in_o every_o grace_n of_o the_o spirit_n whether_o we_o do_v grow_v alike_o in_o the_o measure_n of_o love_n as_o in_o the_o measure_n of_o faith_n or_o zeal_n or_o spiritualness_n as_o that_o good_a man_n he_o wish_v he_o may_v prosper_v 2._o even_o as_o his_o soul_n prosper_v it_o seem_v the_o good_a man_n his_o inward_a man_n be_v renew_v though_o haply_o his_o estate_n or_o his_o body_n may_v wax_v old_a and_o decay_n yet_o his_o soul_n prosper_v and_o he_o make_v that_o a_o pattern_n of_o the_o prosperity_n of_o his_o outward_a man_n may_v we_o not_o say_v on_o the_o other_o hand_n o_o that_o your_o soul_n do_v prosper_v even_o as_o your_o body_n prosper_v you_o be_v fat_a and_o flourish_a and_o feed_v yourselves_o 12._o without_o fear_n much_o pamper_n of_o the_o flesh_n but_o the_o poor_a soul_n o_o how_o lean_a and_o thin_a and_o consumpsit_fw-la it_o be_v what_o fat_a purse_n and_o lean_a soul_n brethren_n whatever_o you_o profess_v while_o it_o be_v thus_o i_o in_o vain_a not_o the_o word_n nor_o any_o other_o appointment_n of_o he_o four_o another_o shall_v be_v this_o we_o can_v else_o withstand_v enemy_n bear_v cross_n alas_o a_o child_n be_v overbear_v by_o a_o touch_n he_o can_v withstand_v a_o potent_a enemy_n therefore_o we_o must_v labour_v to_o be_v strong_a man_n who_o resist_v say_v the_o apostle_n steadfast_a in_o the_o faith_n 9_o there_o they_o grow_v in_o strength_n so_o be_v they_o able_a to_o wield_v their_o shield_n yea_o it_o grow_v strong_a and_o more_o able_a to_o bear_v off_o a_o blow_n alas_o our_o saviour_n see_v his_o sad_a moan_n before_o the_o lord_n of_o our_o weakness_n and_o yet_o be_v careless_a in_o the_o exercise_n of_o the_o grace_n wherein_o we_o pretend_v we_o will_v grow_v the_o desire_n of_o the_o slothful_a kill_v he_o for_o his_o hand_n refuse_v to_o labour_n 25._o we_o may_v mourn_v ourselves_o away_o off_o our_o leg_n and_o spend_v our_o day_n in_o lamentable_a complain_n and_o shall_v they_o do_v one_o strengthen_v another_o the_o act_n of_o our_o grace_n do_v as_o i_o may_v say_v cooperate_v and_o sweet_o conspire_v to_o the_o promote_a one_o of_o another_o that_o be_v to_o say_v of_o the_o act_n and_o these_o act_n than_o strengthen_v the_o habit_n as_o for_o instance_n you_o see_v in_o a_o arch_n one_o stone_n strengthen_v another_o take_v away_o one_o of_o they_o and_o all_o the_o rest_n be_v ready_a to_o fall_v upon_o your_o head_n and_o therefore_o the_o apostle_n exhort_v so_o earnest_o that_o they_o shall_v add_v to_o faith_n temperance_n etc._n etc._n not_o act_v they_o all_o and_o temperance_n and_o heavenly-mindedness_a etc._n etc._n and_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o as_o each_o grace_n do_v grow_v by_o the_o exercise_v of_o itself_o so_o by_o the_o exercise_v of_o they_o all_o they_o will_v have_v a_o mutual_a influence_n each_o upon_o the_o other_o to_o strengthen_v one_o another_o the_o act_n of_o faith_n will_v strengthen_v the_o act_n of_o love_n and_o that_o will_v strengthen_v faith_n again_o and_o so_o for_o the_o rest_n three_o if_o you_o will_v grow_v in_o grace_n you_o must_v be_v much_o in_o prayer_n for_o a_o man_n of_o much_o prayer_n be_v a_o man_n of_o much_o grace_n and_o therefore_o the_o prophet_n put_v they_o both_o together_o he_o will_v pour_v out_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n and_o supplication_n 10._o and_o so_o
