some_o person_n question_v his_o own_v christ_n make_v a_o full_a proper_a satisfaction_n i_o wish_v that_o he_o have_v not_o give_v too_o much_o occasion_n by_o such_o passage_n as_o these_o not_o to_o insist_v so_o strict_o on_o it_o that_o christ_n pay_v a_o rigid_a proper_a satisfaction_n for_o sin_n what_o he_o mean_v by_o so_o strict_o i_o know_v not_o but_o i_o be_o sure_a we_o can_v be_v of_o the_o most_o comfortable_a notion_n in_o all_o the_o book_n of_o god_n in_o all_o the_o revelation_n of_o grace_n by_o jesus_n christ_n that_o our_o lord_n jesus_n pay_v our_o debt_n why_o do_v our_o lord_n jesus_n bid_v we_o pray_v to_o the_o father_n to_o forgive_v we_o our_o debt_n if_o he_o have_v not_o make_v satisfaction_n to_o the_o father_n and_o pay_v they_o will_v you_o have_v god_n forgive_v our_o debt_n without_o receive_v satisfaction_n that_o be_v socinian_n language_n indeed_o and_o you_o pretend_v to_o be_v much_o against_o they_o but_o it_o must_v not_o be_v a_o pecuniary_a debt_n you_o say_v who_o ever_o say_v our_o debt_n to_o god_n be_v pecuniary_a that_o be_v that_o we_o owe_v god_n so_o much_o in_o milled_a money_n or_o in_o guineas_n yet_o we_o may_v and_o do_v owe_v god_n that_o which_o be_v a_o better_a coin_n than_o any_o ever_o make_v in_o the_o tower_n and_o that_o be_v perfect_o pure_a holy_a spiritual_n heavenly_a obedience_n to_o his_o holy_a law_n and_o we_o owe_v god_n satisfaction_n for_o our_o disobedience_n to_o the_o same_o and_o though_o leather_n farthing_n or_o copper_n may_v go_v in_o some_o poor_a kingdom_n as_o shell_n in_o guyny_n go_v for_o money_n and_o in_o rich_a kingdom_n the_o chief_a payment_n be_v in_o gold_n and_o silver_n yet_o in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n no_o payment_n pass_v there_o but_o perfect_a spotless_a obedience_n and_o be_v not_o that_o as_o much_o a_o debt_n to_o god_n as_o any_o pecuniary_a debt_n between_o man_n and_o man_n and_o who_o ever_o pay_v that_o but_o our_o lord_n jesus_n in_o his_o do_v and_o die_v for_o we_o but_o why_o not_o insist_v on_o that_o notion_n of_o a_o debt_n and_o debtor_n may_v we_o not_o without_o a_o rebuke_n insist_v on_o that_o which_o christ_n insist_o upon_o in_o matth._n 5.25_o 26._o he_o insist_o strict_o on_o a_o proper_a rigid_a satisfaction_n there_o and_o say_v agree_v with_o thy_o adversary_n quick_o lest_o he_o at_o any_o of_o christ_n speech_n and_o sweet_a rebuke_n to_o peter_n which_o i_o hope_v may_v have_v a_o sweet_a influence_n on_o our_o rebuker_n for_o his_o caution_n simon_n i_o have_v somewhat_o to_o say_v to_o thou_o luke_n 7.40_o there_o be_v a_o certain_a creditor_n have_v two_o debtor_n the_o one_o ought_v five_o hundred_o penny_n the_o other_o fifty_o will_v any_o one_o say_v now_o that_o our_o not_o our_o lord_n jesus_n set_v it_o off_o with_o wonderful_a consolation_n to_o all_o that_o true_o believe_v in_o he_o by_o say_v he_o come_v not_o to_o be_v minister_v to_o but_o to_o minister_v and_o to_o give_v his_o life_n a_o ransom_n for_o many_o what_o be_v a_o ransom_n but_o the_o pay_v a_o debt_n that_o be_v agree_v upon_o for_o the_o redeem_n a_o slave_n now_o this_o debt_n our_o lord_n jesus_n pay_v or_o else_o it_o can_v not_o be_v say_v to_o be_v a_o ransom_n so_o that_o it_o be_v no_o hazardous_a thing_n but_o a_o strong_a duty_n for_o we_o to_o insist_v on_o christ_n
