christ_n etc._n etc._n as_o well_o as_o a_o reliance_n ay_o but_o a_o man_n see_v only_o with_o his_o eye_n though_o more_o be_v of_o the_o essence_n of_o a_o man_n but_o i_o say_v no_o man_n see_v without_o that_o which_o be_v of_o the_o essence_n of_o his_o eye_n another_o think_v justify_v faith_n as_o such_o receive_v christ_n only_o as_o a_o priest_n other_o say_v it_o receive_v he_o also_o as_o a_o king_n and_o prophet_n yet_o the_o last_o say_v the_o convince_a sinner_n have_v a_o especial_a respect_n to_o christ_n priesthood_n as_o most_o agreeable_a to_o his_o present_a case_n and_o the_o former_a will_v say_v its_o but_o a_o hypocritical_a faith_n that_o receive_v not_o christ_n as_o prophet_n and_o king_n as_o well_o as_o priest_n nay_o it_o be_v not_o the_o true_a christ_n the_o anoint_a messiah_n who_o be_v receive_v unless_o it_o be_v as_o prophet_n king_n and_o priest_n even_o christ_n jesus_n the_o lord_n ay_o but_o some_o say_v repentance_n be_v a_o effect_n of_o justification_n but_o there_o be_v very_o few_o of_o our_o congregational_a brethren_n of_o that_o mind_n and_o i_o suppose_v they_o mean_v work_n meet_v for_o repentance_n and_o not_o a_o change_n of_o the_o purpose_n of_o the_o heart_n nay_o but_o several_a say_v faith_n alone_o be_v the_o instrument_n of_o justification_n other_o make_v repentance_n the_o condition_n of_o forgiveness_n what_o then_o see_v the_o first_o grant_v there_o be_v no_o justify_v faith_n without_o repentance_n and_o the_o last_o grant_v the_o aptitude_n of_o faith_n to_o receive_v and_o acknowledge_v christ_n occasional_a expression_n therein_o accuse_v we_o of_o socinianism_n arminianism_n and_o popery_n and_o that_o they_o may_v have_v some_o pretence_n to_o fix_v that_o charge_n they_o turn_v the_o controversy_n into_o these_o lesser_a matter_n whereby_o i_o be_v necessitate_v either_o to_o insist_v on_o they_o however_o against_o my_o will_n or_o else_o abide_v under_o the_o foresay_a severe_a immediate_o and_o full_o connect_v with_o pardon_n and_o all_o other_o save_v benefit_n 2._o we_o must_v be_v make_v righteous_a by_o christ_n obedience_n in_o some_o way_n less_o remote_a than_o
