By the King A ROCLAMATION âââES R. WHereas on Humble Address hath been mââ unto Vs by Our Commons Assembled in Parliament That We by Our Proclamation would please to Promise a Reward of Fiâe thousand Pounds to such Person or Persons who shal Bring in tââ Person of James Duke of Monmouth Alive or Dead And whereas the said James Duke of Monmouth stands Attainted âf High Treason by Act of Parliment We do herâby by the Aâvice of Our Privy Council Publish and Declare Our Royal Prâmise and Our Will and Pleasure That whosoever shall Bring in âhe Body of the said James Duke of Monmouth either Dead or Alive shall Receiââ and Have the Reward of Fiââ thousand Pounds to be forthwith Payed by Our Higâ Treasures of England for ââch his or their Service Given at Our Court at Whitehall the Sixteenth Day of June,1685 In the First Year of Our Reign God save the King ââNDON Printed by the Assigns of John Bill Deceas'd And by Henry Hills and Thomas Newcomb Printeââ to the Kings most Excellent Majesty 1685. ââââburgh Re-printed by the Heir of Andrew Anderson Printer to His most Sacred Majesty 1685.
