thirty_o three_o act_n five_o session_n of_o this_o our_o current_a parliament_n entitle_v act_n for_o the_o levy_n do_v hereby_o appoint_v and_o ordain_v that_o no_o officer_n either_o at_o home_o or_o from_o abroad_o offer_v to_o take_v on_o or_o press_v any_o free_a liege_n to_o be_v a_o soldier_n unless_o the_o man_n be_v take_v on_o by_o agreement_n own_v by_o he_o in_o presence_n of_o the_o judge_n of_o the_o bound_n and_o if_o any_o officer_n shall_v contraveen_n this_o order_n and_o press_n or_o compel_v any_o man_n contrair_a to_o the_o rule_n hereby_o establish_v that_o it_o shall_v be_v reckon_v oppression_n and_o the_o transgressor_n punish_v by_o the_o fine_n of_o a_o month_n pay_v and_o further_o by_o imprisonment_n or_o break_v and_o casheer_v as_o the_o say_n lord_n from_o flanders_n to_o seize_v upon_o any_o person_n as_o deserter_n but_o such_o as_o have_v deserted_n from_o our_o scots_a regiment_n in_o flanders_n since_o they_o be_v there_o and_o none_o other_o and_o allow_v the_o officer_n of_o our_o force_n in_o this_o our_o ancient_a kingdom_n to_o seize_v upon_o none_o upon_o the_o head_n of_o desertion_n but_o such_o as_o have_v deserted_n from_o one_o or_o other_o of_o the_o say_n regiment_n of_o which_o they_o be_v at_o present_a officer_n and_o discharge_v any_o person_n to_o be_v seize_v upon_o on_o pretence_n of_o desertion_n before_o our_o accession_n to_o the_o crown_n and_o for_o prevent_v any_o mistake_n anent_o pass_n give_v to_o such_o as_o have_v be_v soldier_n we_o with_o advice_n foresay_a do_v hereby_o appoint_v
