apart_o for_o the_o gospel_n sake_n to_o declare_v that_o his_o vocation_n which_o he_o have_v now_o make_v mention_v of_o have_v his_o begin_v even_o of_o the_o predestination_n and_o election_n of_o god_n and_o in_o the_o epistle_n which_o he_o write_v to_o the_o galathians_n he_o manifest_o open_v the_o nature_n of_o such_o a_o put_v a_o part_n when_o he_o say_v that_o he_o be_v segregated_a from_o his_o mother_n womb_n that_o be_v elect_v not_o rashlye_a but_o with_o great_a wisdom_n and_o observation_n hereby_o we_o learn_v that_o that_o be_v false_a which_o some_o man_n think_v namely_o that_o some_o man_n be_v bear_v good_a and_o other_o some_o evil_n undoubted_o we_o be_v all_o bear_v the_o child_n of_o wrath_n neither_o be_v sin_n we_o be_v all_o bear_v in_o sin_n there_o any_o inequality_n as_o touch_v birth_n but_o it_o be_v the_o predestination_n and_o election_n of_o god_n whereby_o we_o be_v unite_v and_o graft_v into_o the_o member_n of_o christ_n although_o some_o of_o the_o father_n sometime_o say_v that_o therefore_o some_o be_v predestinate_a of_o god_n or_o separate_v from_o other_o because_o he_o foresee_v that_o they_o will_v upright_o use_v both_o grace_n and_o also_o free_a will_n howbeit_o they_o speak_v not_o that_o out_o of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n neither_o do_v paul_n at_o any_o time_n use_v this_o reason_n yea_o rather_o he_o say_v of_o jacob_n and_o esau_n before_o they_o be_v bear_v or_o before_o they_o have_v do_v any_o good_a or_o evil_n etc._n etc._n which_o reason_n have_v sclenderlye_o commend_v the_o grace_n of_o election_n which_o then_o chief_o he_o intend_v to_o do_v if_o it_o shall_v be_v understand_v accord_v to_o these_o man_n interpretation_n for_o a_o man_n may_v have_v say_v although_o these_o be_v little_a one_o have_v as_o yet_o do_v nothing_o in_o act_n and_o in_o very_a deed_n yet_o as_o touch_v the_o providence_n and_o sight_n of_o god_n unto_o who_o all_o thing_n be_v present_a they_o have_v do_v both_o good_a and_o evil_n accord_v unto_o the_o which_o they_o be_v either_o predestinate_a or_o reprobate_a and_o by_o this_o objection_n the_o argument_n of_o paul_n shall_v have_v be_v very_o much_o weaken_v far_o to_o render_v this_o cause_n of_o the_o election_n of_o god_n it_o be_v not_o so_o hard_a a_o thing_n the_o the_o apostle_n shall_v have_v need_v to_o stop_v the_o mouth_n of_o man_n complain_v of_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n which_o thing_n yet_o he_o do_v when_o he_o say_v but_o who_o be_v thou_o o_o man_n which_o aunswere_v unto_o god_n have_v not_o the_o potter_n power_n over_o the_o clay_n of_o one_o and_o the_o self_n same_o lump_n to_o make_v one_o vessel_n to_o honour_n and_o a_o other_o to_o contumely_n and_o he_o cry_v out_o oh_o the_o depth_n of_o the_o riches_n of_o the_o wisdom_n and_o knowledge_n of_o god_n how_o unsearchable_a be_v his_o judgement_n how_o investigable_a be_v his_o way_n which_o thing_n undoubted_o need_v not_o to_o have_v be_v speak_v if_o the_o question_n may_v so_o easy_o have_v be_v dissolve_v add_v this_o also_o which_o he_o say_v in_o a_o other_o place_n it_o be_v not_o of_o he_o which_o will_v nor_o of_o he_o which_o run_v but_o of_o god_n which_o have_v compassion_n and_o again_o he_o have_v mercy_n upon_o who_o he_o will_v and_o harden_v who_o he_o wil._n whereby_o be_v manifest_a that_o we_o be_v choose_v to_o salvation_n not_o by_o our_o work_n foresee_v but_o of_o mere_a goodness_n but_o the_o knowledge_n of_o election_n and_o predestination_n have_v a_o double_a utility_n first_o that_o we_o shall_v not_o despair_v in_o adversity_n but_o profitable_a the_o knowledge_n of_o predistination_n be_v profitable_a rather_o remember_v that_o we_o be_v dear_a unto_o god_n before_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o world_n be_v lay_v and_o that_o he_o have_v not_o only_o elect_v we_o but_o also_o call_v we_o and_o justify_v we_o we_o shall_v not_o doubt_v but_o that_o he_o have_v a_o care_n over_o we_o so_o that_o he_o even_o now_o also_o will_v not_o forsake_v us._n it_o be_v of_o force_n also_o to_o repress_v our_o pride_n that_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v puff_v up_o for_o our_o work_n or_o holiness_n of_o our_o life_n know_v that_o we_o have_v these_o thing_n only_o of_o the_o election_n of_o god_n and_o hereby_o also_o it_o manifest_o appear_v that_o god_n choose_v we_o not_o for_o our_o good_a work_n which_o he_o forsee_v for_o as_o much_o as_o they_o be_v comprehend_v in_o predestination_n for_o who_o god_n have_v predestinate_v to_o salvation_n unto_o those_o same_o also_o have_v he_o appoint_v to_o geve_v both_o grace_n and_o mean_n whereby_o they_o shall_v come_v unto_o salvation_n these_o be_v the_o two_o principal_a utility_n which_o the_o knowledge_n of_o predestination_n bring_v unto_o the_o elect_v wherefore_o they_o which_o have_v such_o cogitation_n of_o it_o that_o predestination_n who_o abuse_v the_o knowledge_n of_o predestination_n they_o be_v drive_v to_o desperation_n as_o
