in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n to_o do_v these_o thing_n for_o he_o now_o to_o say_v a_o man_n by_o believe_v take_v a_o effectual_a and_o direct_a course_n to_o prevail_v with_o god_n to_o forgive_v he_o his_o sin_n to_o impute_v righteousness_n unto_o he_o etc._n etc._n be_v as_o proper_a and_o convenient_a expression_n as_o to_o say_v that_o he_o prevail_v with_o he_o to_o justify_v he_o yet_o actual_a instate_n in_o or_o put_v man_n into_o a_o real_a possession_n of_o that_o blessedness_n and_o glory_n which_o god_n have_v assign_v by_o promise_n unto_o his_o saint_n and_o those_o that_o shall_v be_v save_v now_o in_o either_o of_o these_o two_o latter_a consideration_n it_o be_v not_o ascribable_a unto_o man_n but_o in_o the_o first_o of_o the_o three_o as_o we_o have_v hear_v it_o be_v in_o like_a manner_n the_o act_n of_o justify_v be_v one_o and_o the_o same_o act_n yet_o it_o admit_v of_o sundry_a consideration_n 1._o it_o may_v be_v consider_v either_o as_o a_o act_n of_o god_n impute_v righteousness_n unto_o man_n or_o as_o a_o act_n of_o his_o forgive_a man_n all_o their_o sin_n or_o as_o a_o act_n of_o grace_n and_o high_a favour_n purchase_v at_o his_o hand_n by_o christ_n for_o man_n or_o last_o as_o a_o act_n attainable_a from_o god_n by_o man_n for_o themselves_o by_o perform_v of_o such_o condition_n or_o term_n upon_o and_o according_a unto_o which_o he_o have_v covenant_v and_o promise_v the_o vouchsafement_n of_o it_o the_o former_a consideration_n of_o the_o act_n we_o speak_v of_o be_v of_o that_o nature_n and_o import_v that_o in_o respect_n of_o none_o of_o they_o it_o be_v attributable_a unto_o man_n they_o all_o import_v such_o thing_n which_o be_v above_o the_o line_n of_o man_n but_o in_o the_o consideration_n last_o mention_v it_o may_v in_o very_o passable_a and_o convenient_a language_n be_v attribute_v unto_o man_n who_o believe_v in_o reference_n to_o themselves_o nor_o need_v it_o be_v offensive_a unto_o any_o man_n to_o hear_v it_o say_v that_o man_n who_o believe_v in_o that_o sense_n justify_v themselves_o there_o be_v two_o other_o cause_n of_o justification_n yet_o remain_v not_o mention_v in_o the_o title_n page_n among_o those_o that_o have_v be_v insist_v on_o viz._n the_o material_a and_o the_o final_a of_o these_o in_o few_o word_n concerning_o the_o material_a cause_n of_o justification_n sect._n 18_o they_o who_o make_v it_o to_o be_v either_o christ_n himself_o or_o the_o justification_n righteousness_n of_o christ_n either_o active_a or_o passive_a or_o both_o express_v themselves_o very_o unproper_o and_o confound_v two_o cause_n always_o distinct_a and_o contradistinguish_v viz._n the_o efficient_a and_o the_o material_a the_o former_a be_v always_o extrinsical_a the_o latter_a intrinsical_a to_o the_o effect_n or_o thing_n cause_v by_o they_o in_o conjunction_n with_o the_o other_o two_o cause_n and_o beside_o in_o so_o notion_v the_o matter_n or_o material_a cause_n of_o
