much_o against_o doubt_v when_o it_o be_v join_v with_o joy_n unspeakable_a and_o glorious_a as_o repentance_n can_v do_v against_o any_o other_o sin_n and_o while_o it_o be_v upon_o we_o in_o the_o strength_n of_o it_o a_o believer_n be_v apt_a to_o think_v himself_o arm_v and_o strengthen_v and_o so_o establish_v as_o that_o he_o shall_v never_o question_v god_n love_n any_o more_o or_o the_o pardon_n of_o his_o sin_n and_o yet_o experience_n show_v it_o that_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n prevail_v sometime_o again_o after_o this_o and_o the_o same_o doubt_n arise_v and_o prevail_v as_o much_o as_o ever_o neither_o will_v the_o remembrance_n of_o the_o former_a assurance_n be_v always_o of_o force_n enough_o to_o resist_v they_o for_o he_o may_v come_v to_o question_v that_o assurance_n itself_o also_o and_o so_o forget_v that_o he_o be_v purge_v from_o his_o old_a sin_n and_o if_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n prevail_v in_o the_o conscience_n again_o against_o such_o a_o renew_a and_o settle_a act_n of_o faith_n why_o may_v not_o the_o power_n of_o a_o lust_n prevail_v in_o the_o member_n after_o a_o renew_a act_n of_o repentance_n reas_n 4_o 4._o if_o it_o be_v say_v that_o a_o renew_a act_n of_o thorough_a repentance_n do_v keep_v a_o man_n not_o by_o any_o peculiar_a virtue_n in_o itself_o alone_o but_o by_o the_o power_n of_o god_n concurrent_a with_o it_o then_o i_o demand_v to_o see_v the_o promise_n wherein_o god_n have_v infallible_o oblige_v and_o engage_v his_o power_n upon_o such_o a_o renew_a act_n of_o repentance_n to_o preserve_v from_o fall_v into_o that_o sin_n of_o all_o other_o for_o ever_o without_o which_o no_o man_n in_o faith_n can_v affirm_v it_o and_o without_o which_o there_o be_v a_o it_o may_v be_v and_o a_o supposition_n of_o such_o a_o possibility_n as_o sometime_o fall_v out_o and_o be_v reduce_v to_o existence_n god_n indeed_o have_v say_v that_o if_o we_o fall_v he_o will_v put_v under_o his_o hand_n to_o break_v that_o fall_n that_o it_o shall_v not_o ruin_v we_o but_o not_o so_o to_o keep_v we_o in_o his_o hand_n as_o we_o shall_v be_v out_o of_o danger_n of_o fall_v again_o a_o renew_a act_n of_o repentance_n be_v indeed_o a_o ordinance_n sanctify_v to_o preserve_v a_o man_n yet_o but_o in_o the_o same_o manner_n that_o other_o ordinance_n be_v as_o prayer_n and_o the_o word_n preach_v and_o admonition_n etc._n etc._n with_o which_o god_n do_v not_o always_o so_o infallible_o cooperate_v as_o efficacious_o to_o work_v always_o that_o which_o they_o serve_v to_o 5._o if_o there_o be_v not_o such_o a_o possibility_n as_o might_n and_o do_v sometime_o fall_v out_o then_o every_o regenerate_a man_n after_o such_o a_o renew_a act_n of_o repentance_n may_v secure_v himself_o against_o the_o commit_v that_o gross_a act_n again_o for_o ever_o but_o so_o he_o can_v never_o do_v against_o any_o particular_a act_n of_o sin_n but_o that_o sin_n against_o the_o holy_a ghost_n saint_n paul_n therefore_o exhort_v when_o a_o brother_n be_v fall_v into_o a_o sin_n to_o restore_v such_o a_o one_o with_o the_o spirit_n of_o meekness_n upon_o this_o consideration_n consider_v thyself_o lest_o thou_o also_o be_v tempt_v and_o he_o lay_v the_o exhortation_n upon_o those_o who_o be_v most_o spiritual_a you_o that_o be_v spiritual_a refore_o such_o a_o one_o consider_v thyself_o lest_o
