to_o promulge_v or_o execute_v any_o canon_n but_o what_o be_v agreeable_a to_o the_o law_n and_o custom_n of_o the_o realm_n it_o must_v of_o necessity_n follow_v one_a that_o the_o king_n have_v not_o only_o a_o right_n to_o review_n the_o act_n of_o every_o such_o convocation_n but_o aught_o moreover_o to_o submit_v they_o to_o the_o examination_n of_o his_o learned_a council_n in_o the_o law_n that_o so_o he_o may_v the_o more_o secure_o be_v able_a to_o judge_v whether_o they_o be_v consistent_a with_o the_o law_n of_o his_o realm_n and_o by_o consequence_n capable_a of_o receive_v any_o enforcement_n from_o he_o forasmuch_o as_o it_o will_v be_v not_o only_o too_o rash_a and_o unseemly_a but_o even_o a_o vain_a thing_n for_o the_o king_n to_o expose_v his_o prerogative_n by_o become_v settle_v both_o by_o parliament_n and_o convocation_n first_o that_o the_o clergy_n have_v no_o right_a to_o meet_v in_o any_o synod_n without_o the_o king_n licence_n testify_v by_o his_o writ_n to_o the_o archbishop_n and_o second_o that_o be_v meet_v they_o can_v proceed_v to_o act_n but_o according_a to_o his_o direction_n thus_o be_v the_o crown_n after_o a_o long_a invasion_n be_v no_o bishop_n there_o their_o presence_n be_v no_o long_o hold_v necessary_a so_o my_o lord_n coke_n have_v learned_o determine_v this_o matter_n which_o make_v i_o the_o more_o wonder_n that_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o inferior_a clergy_n be_v no_o long_o hold_v necessary_a it_o shall_v nevertheless_o be_v hold_v necessary_a to_o continue_v their_o summons_n and_o not_o rather_o be_v think_v adviseable_a to_o reduce_v the_o bishop_n writ_n to_o its_o first_o form_n when_o the_o proctor_n appendix_n of_o the_o clergy_n not_o come_v neither_o be_v they_o summon_v to_o parliament_n whatsoever_o it_o be_v that_o he_o will_v have_v they_o to_o consult_v about_o and_o have_v so_o do_v they_o be_v to_o lay_v the_o result_n of_o their_o opinion_n according_a to_o his_o direction_n inform_v by_o they_o when_o they_o see_v how_o gross_o they_o have_v mistake_v the_o sense_n of_o it_o but_o it_o may_v be_v our_o king_n be_v party_n in_o this_o case_n and_o have_v a_o interest_n to_o prefer_v this_o interpretation_n of_o that_o statute_n before_o the_o other_o that_o so_o they_o may_v the_o better_o exalt_v their_o own_o power_n by_o it_o let_v this_o also_o be_v suppose_v
